Movement of Sound - June 28th 2006 June 28th, 2006 -- Ian Green Benefit -- $5 All Night MAIN ROOM \| Extended Hours \| 8-2 AM \| Ian green is a 3 and a half year old boy, the youngest of four children, who was born with many medical problems. Soon after birth he was diagnosed with autism and mild retardation. A little over a month ago Ian was brought to the doctor because he suffered from and asthma attack, and they referred him to the hospital. After several tests they received the bad news that Ian has cancer. He has a tumor that goes all the way across his stomach and is attached to his kidney. he also has a tumor in his lungs. The good news is that the tumors are non-aggressive. but the bad news is that he has stage 4 cancer, which is as bad as it can get. Ian has to undergo 6 weeks of chemo, which hopefully will shrink the tumor in his stomach. they will have to remove the tumor and one of his kidneys due to it's location. After this surgery he will be put back on chemo to try and shrink the tumor in his lungs. Ian's parents run a daycare out of their house, but it has remained closed since hearing this news they have been closed because anyone who is sick and goes around Ian could cause complications. This is due to his immune system being so low because of the cancer and the chemo. The outlook for Ian is not the best, but with the help of others and the support of his family, we hope he can pull through. We will be holding this event in the MAIN ROOM, so there will plenty of space for everyone. There will be a wide variety of performers donating their talents, ensuring a full spectrum of sound and entertainment. Please come out and show your love for a child and a family in need.
