With his recent signings to Broke Recordings and Electrofly Records and his ‘Unbreakable’ and 'Redline' residencies in New York City, Wavewhore is pushing new boundaries in the East Coast breakbeat community. His music is aimed directly at the dancefloor and his vinyl releases are making waves across the globe.
Wavewhore began his musical career playing heavy metal guitar in several bands which toured the New York City area. At around the same time he began focusing on electronic music and his early material was featured on Well Primed Records as well as in a film titled "Prohibited Beatz", a documentary about the NYC electronic dance music scene.
Wavewhore's high-energy DJ sets blend many styles of breaks from tear-out to funk to tech into powerful and effective mixes that whip dancefloor crowds into a frenzy. His name is derived from his addiction to manipulating audio waveforms and from all appearances he promises to be an inspiring force in electronic music.
